I know literally nothing about the Quake Live scene, but I'd like to get your thoughts on a guy who's claiming to be a past professional in both Quake and Counter-Strike. The person in question is WinD ( you can watch his videos here: ) and he repeatedly states his sponsors including, but not limited to, Diet Mt. Dew and Monster energy drinks. My question is, is this guy legit or delusional? Haha, I hear you. I do think it's bullshit, but the part that weirds me out and confuses me is what sounds like fatal1ty corroborating his story. Just doesn't make a lot of sense. The VAC and twitch bans for viewbotting and cheating obviously lead me to believe that he's full of shit in general, plus I know my CS history and know for certain he's never played on any team of any meaning whatsoever. I know nothing about the Quake scene, though, and he has a legitimate professional backing him up, which is where the confusion lies.

That was literally all you need to see to know he can't play quake, he doesn't strafe, doesn't wall clip, doesn't time, has no map awareness, bad positioning, the list goes on. If he's actually been playing as long as he claims then it's actually amazing that he hasn't picked up any kind of ability or basic quake skills in that time just out of luck/playing. I agree with the first part, I wanted to laugh and I did have a little giggle at the start of that game. But overall I just feel sad. And also a little bit glad that he focuses on lying to other CSGO players instead of Quake. Our community is toxic enough as it is, without people like him. Glhf, hope he comes clean one day.

Fatal1ty is so awesome though! I didn't get to actually like MEET MEET him but I sort of got to meet him, I said Hello. And was nervious and he was really busy anyway. But like he is real enthusiastic in this video to b playing with wind n raiders makes me smile.

He like is legit about his excitement. If we can get Wind and Fatal1ty 2 play CSGO together? That would be gucci cuz I dont know how good Fatal1ty is at CSGO but im sure he is just naturally in tune and in vibe with it. Wind on the other hand is fantastic and maybe they would totally synchronize together and be the dynamic duo! I've never seen so much complete utter bullshit on a 'curriculum'.
