Conceptronic Ieee 1394 Firewire Pc Card Drivers

Islamicdeve.cba.pl› Conceptronic Ieee 1394 Firewire Drivers Spent the whole day on this, and run google dry on possible answers. I have just built a new machine, intel i7 Gigabyte GA X97 X UD5H and put a new Digitus PCIe Firewire card.

I have a new computer running Windows 7. It is functioning well, apart from the firewire card not being recognized. I can see that the BIOS does see the firewire card. Pages on the web offering advice on this kind of problems start their solutions with going to the device manager and expanding the 'IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers' node in the device tree. Only I don't have such a node. How can I get the 'IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers' node to appear in the device manager?

Windows update reports that Windows is up to date. Hi, I would like to recommend you download the driver from the official website firstly, then reboot to check if the issue persists. Please feel free to contact me if you get any update. Hope it helps! Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice.

The card is a Conceptronic Ci1394B PCI card. Conceptronic support let me know that if the card is a version 2 card, it should work with Windows 7. Mine is a version 2 card. The card does not come with any drivers. Nor can drivers be downloaded from the Conceptronic website. I think this means the card is supposed to function with standard windows drivers. The motherboard is an MSI 770-G45.

I have updated the BIOS to the latest version. I have also run the 'search for new drivers' utility that comes with the motherboard. If I disable 'quick boot' I can see the following during the boot sequence: 'PCI slot 3 firewire ctrl'. I assume this means that the BIOS has detected the card and recognized it as a firewire card. Well, that is about it. Is there other information worth sharing? I got the feeling that the next step is the 'IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers' node to appear in the device manager.

Hi Miya, Hi I have the exact same problem. I just purchased a new custom built computer and I have no firewire device in my device manager to play with. I'm trying to connect a mixing board, but the firewire port is not. Anyway, the link you gave, which i believe must have helped the original poster, is no longer active. Can you please post another link with the same result? I don't know what kind of card i have.
